We Believe Healthy Smiles Should Be Accessible To Everyone
Dedicated to giving back to our community, Dr. Young provides free, comprehensive dental care to the underserved population in Pleasanton and East Bay. Through our 1000 Smiles Project and Tickling Toothbuds programs, we make giving back to our community part of who we are and what we stand for.
1000Smiles Project
If you had the ability to help those who couldn’t help themselves, would you? It’s always been an easy yes for our team at Sustainable Smiles.
Inspired by her community, Dr. Young started the 1000Smiles Project to give back to the communities she loves. She provides free dental exams, thorough cleanings, tooth extractions, and full and partial dentures to those who qualify. No one should have to go without the dental care they need because of their circumstances.
If you would need dental care or know someone who does, please fill out an application to see if you qualify.
Tickling Toothbuds
Healthy habits start early. We know how important it is for children to create healthy hygiene habits to set them up for a lifetime of healthy smiles. That’s why Dr. Young and her team welcome children under age 12 to the office for free services with our Tickling Toothbuds program. We offer:
- Gentle exams
- Thorough cleanings (valid for basic cleaning)
- Digital X-rays
- Fluoride treatments
- Dental sealants (cannot be placed on teeth with cavities)
- Tooth-colored fillings
*Each child may be seen once a year to give other children the opportunity for treatment. All treatments are up to the discretion of Dr. Young. This offer may change or be discontinued at any time without prior notice.
Veteran Care
You served our country and now we’re honored to serve you. As part of giving back to those who have given so much, we deliver free dental care to veterans in the Pleasanton and Easy Bay communities.

When you refer the people you love to Sustainable Smiles, you help us grow our dental family. Not only do we love welcoming new smiles, but you help Dr. Young provide more free dental services to those who can’t afford it. Your smile will feel at home here and your referral helps other smiles find their way home too.

Our free community events are by appointment only. Priority is given to children under age 12, though we see older children and adults as well. Stay up to date on our next event and give us a call with any questions or to schedule your spot.
